The client had received an electricity bill of €900 the previous month. Marblanc Solar installed a 11kW system & a 15kWh battery, which cut the client’s monthly electricity costs by around 88%.
Background
The client was referred to Marblanc Solar. We set a date for a free solar survey, where we carried out a home visit, drone inspection, 3D shading analysis, savings estimation and custom proposal for the client.
During the home visit, the client passed us a recent electricity bill totalling over €900. The client’s priority was a high-performance solar installation to reduce the monthly cost of electricity.
The property’s largest roof section was south-facing. However, during our 3D shading analysis and custom proposal, we realised the need to fit more solar panels on two further roof sections in order to achieve a savings reduction of around 88%.

Solution
Our free solar survey estimated an 88% bill reduction in peak months – but only with an 11kW system and the installation of a solar battery.
The on-site drone inspection and 3D shading analysis carried out during the initial free solar survey helped us to identify the three roof sections necessary to install the paels.
We mounted the 19 solar panels with a combined capacity of 11.02kW. After installation, we swapped the client’s bill to a new provider offering a feed-in tariff and virtual battery.
We then monitored the client’s electricity usage every day for two weeks. The client was assigned to one of our Monday-Sunday WhatsApp aftercare groups for any future questions and to schedule their first free annual check-ups.
