Background
The client found Marblanc Solar’s Google Places profile and got in touch to discuss an installation. We set a date for our free solar survey for a site visit and in-person consultation.
During the home visit, the client showed us a recent electricity bill. The client had paid €1,085 in the last year, which came to around €90/ month on electricity. While consumption was relatively low, the property was a holiday home and the client wished to reduce energy expenses.
Above all, the client wanted to pay as little as possible on electricity during the months he wasn’t living there.
The client also requested all-black solar panels.
The results of our free solar survey showed the client could expect to save €1,032/ year on electricity. The estimation showed the client would be able to cut their bills to an average of €4/ month (not including standing charges).
Following our proposal presentation and some adjustments, the client proceeded with the installation.

Solution
We mounted 14 all-black solar panels, with a combined capacity of 5.88kW. The client requested the all-black panels for aesthetic purposes and, while these panels have a lower output than other panels, the client had enough roof space to fit a system that could reduce his annual costs to around €53 (not including standing charges).
Following installation, we immediately compared solar feed-in tariff providers and selected the best option for the client. After the legal registration of the installation, we moved them to a new virtual battery deal.
