The client had just bought the property and wanted to include a solar installation as part of a general renovation project. Marblanc Solar installed a 10.115kW solar energy system, which will also reduce electricity costs by over €1,544 a year.
Background
The client had a newbuild villa in the Torreblanca neighbourhood of Fuengirola and wanted to reduce electricity expenses as part of their wider renovation project.
Marblanc Solar is the top-rated solar installer with many solar installations in Fuengirola, and the client requested our free solar survey. We set a date to carry out a home visit, drone inspection, 3D shading analysis, savings estimation and custom proposal.
During the home visit, our survey engineer discovered the client had paid over €1,772 on electricity in the past year – around €148 a month.
The client requested a custom carport to allow installation of more solar panels than the roof could cover. This requirement shaped our proposal and meant integrating carport design, quoting, and permitting alongside the solar system.
Following adjustments, our final proposal included 595W solar panels, among the highest-output models available, with a predicted break-even period of just over 6 years.

Solution
Our team mounted 17 solar panels with a combined capacity of 10.115kW on the client’s carport and villa roof, ensuring maximum coverage despite roof space limitations.
Marblanc Solar designed, quoted and installed a custom carport as part of our installation with all the necessary municipal licenses and permits. We also tailored the car charging schedule to make use of electricity during the day and keep bills low despite using a high-power appliance.
As part of our post-installation support, we then secured an exclusive solar feed-in tariff with a virtual battery.
We also monitored the client’s electricity usage every day for two weeks to help optimise their appliance usage with plug timers and use of our solar app. Finally, we assigned the client to one of our Monday-Sunday WhatsApp aftercare groups, should they have any questions.
Results
The client was happy with the savings and is already considering adding a solar battery and backup box in future to save more money and use their EV charger at night or during power cuts.
