The client wanted to install solar panels to reduce the cost of using AC at a holiday home in Fuengirola. Marblanc Solar installed a 5kW system, which will cut their electricity costs to an expected €0 per year.
Background
The client wanted to install solar panels on a terraced house in Fuengirola. It was a holiday home, and the client wanted to take advantage of a virtual battery to save up credit and use it to keep bills low when at the property in summer months.
Marblanc Solar has completed many solar installations in Fuengirola and the Malaga metropolitan area, and the client was referred to us as a trusted solar installer in the area.
During an initial home visit, the client showed us recent electricity bills. We saw an annual cost of €1,450 and an average monthly cost of around €120.
The electricity consumption showed a pattern of peaking well over €120 during summer months, when the owner’s family was at the property. We proceeded with a free solar survey and a system proposal to cut electricity costs to €0 and save credit in a virtual battery when the property was unused.
The client was happy with our recommendation of where to place the solar panels on the roof, and proceeded with the installation.

Solution
Our team mounted 12 solar panels with a combined capacity of 5kW. The solar panels were split into two separate strings: one was placed on an east-facing section of roof, and the other on a west-facing section of roof.
Our in-house solar installers fit the cables with no damage to any walls or tiles.
