We reduced a client's electricity bills by €885 a year after installing 7 solar panels on their villa in Jávea, Alicante.
Marblanc Solar installed a 3.85kWp solar system on a detached villa in Jávea, Alicante, reducing the client’s electricity costs by €885 a year. Seven JA Solar panels were fitted across two planes of a traditional terracotta-tiled roof, with a Huawei inverter managing output from a system sized precisely to the property’s consumption.
The client’s electricity bill was running at €200 a month – not unusually high for a detached villa with a pool in the Alicante province, but a cost they wanted to bring down with a reliable, long-term solution. With strong solar resource across the Costa Blanca and a south-facing roof well-suited to panels, going solar was a logical step.
For others who have taken the same decision, you can browse our installations in Alicante. Closer to home, we hadn’t yet published case studies from Jávea at the time of this installation – but the demand we see across the area reflects how many villa owners here are making the switch. If you’d like to know what solar could do for your property, a free solar survey is the natural starting point. One of our engineers visits the property, carries out a drone analysis and shading scan, models the system in detail, and puts together a tailored proposal based on your actual consumption and roof geometry.
Survey engineer Miguel Ángel Ruiz Zapardiel led the assessment for this property. Our energy modelling took into account:
The proposal that came back was a 3.85kWp system – seven 550W panels, a Huawei hybrid-ready inverter, and a Sunfer Microrail mounting system engineered for the existing terracotta tile. Projected savings came in at €885 a year, with a monthly bill falling from €200 to around €126, and a discounted payback period of 7–8 years.
Our team installed the seven panels across two adjacent planes of the villa’s south-facing roof – three on the left face and four on the right, working with the natural geometry of the ridge to keep the layout balanced and tidy. Both faces share a broadly south to south-west orientation, so the split introduces no meaningful performance compromise. The Huawei SUN2000-10K-LC0 inverter was positioned and wired to manage output from both roof sections as a single system.
All cabling was fully concealed within the existing roof structure, routed cleanly to the inverter without surface runs. The Sunfer Microrail mounting system was fitted with high-grade chemical resin and waterproof membranes at every fixing point, preserving the integrity of the terracotta tile and ensuring a weather-resistant, long-term installation.
After handover, we secured the client’s feed-in tariff registration and set up a virtual battery to maximise the value of any surplus generation. Over the first two weeks, we monitored daily consumption patterns, helped optimise plug timer settings, and ensured the Huawei FusionSolar app was configured and the client was comfortable using it. The client was also added to our Monday–Sunday WhatsApp aftersales care group for ongoing support.
