Marbella, Spain — Marblanc Solar has announced what it calls Spain’s largest solar giveaway, offering one Costa del Sol homeowner a free solar installation worth up to €20,000.
The prize surpasses all previous solar giveaways, even those by leading utility companies Iberdrola and Octopus Energy España.
The competition is open to homeowners from San Roque in Cádiz to Málaga city, with entries submitted online via Marblanc Solar’s giveaway page.
The initiative is part of the company’s effort to give back to the Costa del Sol community after rapid growth in recent years.
Since expanding from a team of three to 34, Marblanc Solar has become the top-rated installer in Marbella and the highest-rated English-speaking solar provider on the coast.
The winner will be announced live at 7pm on 27th October on Marblanc Solar’s official Facebook page.
Giveaway Details
Registering is straightforward.
Entrants complete a short form on Marblanc Solar’s giveaway page, receive a free solar survey, and wait for the live prize draw at 7pm on 27th October.
To be eligible, entrants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Own your own home
- Detached or semi-detached property (no apartments)
- Based on the Costa del Sol
- Accept a free solar survey
The winner will receive a €20,000 discount applied directly to the cost of a new solar installation. If the chosen system costs less than this amount, the installation will be entirely free.
Entries close at midnight on 22nd October.
Spain’s “Largest Solar Giveaway”
According to Marblanc Solar, the €20,000 system on offer represents the largest known solar giveaway ever run in Spain.
The initiative exceeds similar promotions from major energy suppliers including Iberdrola, Proxima Energía and Octopus Energy España – as well as smaller renewable firms such as Solar Proyect, Ule Energy, PubliSolar, Tornasol, TSO Solar and Solar Go!.
The most significant previous campaign identified was by Solar Proyect, offering a solar installation valued at €5,500 in June 2025.
Solar Go! later announced a 3 kW system giveaway with an estimated value of €3,800 to €5,500.
By comparison, Iberdrola advertised a giveaway of eight installations in 2023, but the promotion appeared only once on its Facebook page and was not referenced again.
At the other end of the scale, Proxima Energía’s most recent competition offered a 30 W FlexSolar portable charger with a retail value of approximately €60.
Reasons for the Giveaway
Marblanc Solar says the decision to launch Spain’s largest solar giveaway follows a year of unprecedented growth on the Costa del Sol.
It has completed over 100 solar installations so far, and documented 50 of these on its installations page on the website.
The firm attributes this expansion to its approach to quotations and after-sales support.
Each project begins with a free solar survey, where a drone is flown to scan the roof before designs are created using Pylon, the world’s leading solar simulation software. This enables precise estimates of production, annual savings and payback periods.
Once installations are complete, Marblanc Solar says it remains the only company in the region to add a 25-year workmanship warranty on top of existing manufacturing guarantees.
Customers also receive a direct WhatsApp line to the company’s co-owners, with an electrician dispatched in the event of any issue.
Additional aftercare includes configuring plug timers to help households reduce consumption, and setting clients up with a virtual battery system immediately after commissioning.
