We cut a client’s monthly bill by 87% after installing 39 solar panels at a new build villa in Nueva Andalucía, Marbella.
The client had a property in Marbella and had received a monthly bill for €3,309 the previous July. Marblanc Solar installed a 22kW system, which cut the client’s monthly electricity costs by around 87%.

The client was referred to Marblanc Solar. We set a date for a free solar survey, where we carried out a home visit, drone inspection, 3D shading analysis, savings estimation and custom proposal for the client.
During the home visit, the client passed us recent electricity bills. Following a sudden electricity price increase in summer, the client had received a €3,309 monthly bill due to the usage of high-power appliances such as pool heaters, pool pumps, air conditioning and more.
The client’s primary goal was to reduce energy costs. However, the customer also requested that any panels be mounted at a flat angle in order to maintain the aesthetics of the villa.
Our free solar survey estimated an 80% bill reduction in peak months, such as in summer, from €3,300, down to under €700.
The on-site drone inspection and 3D shading analysis carried out during the initial free solar survey helped us identify the need for 39 solar panels. We proposed the exact placement of the panels on the roof with 3D imaging.
We mounted the 39 solar panels, with a combined capacity of 22.035kW. After installation, we swapped the client’s bill to a new provider offering a feed-in tariff and virtual battery.
We then monitored the client’s electricity usage every day for two weeks. This helped us find inefficiencies in the client’s usage of appliances, and we made improvements using plug timers and optimised circuits to reduce grid consumption as much as possible.
The client was assigned to one of our Monday-Sunday WhatsApp aftercare groups for any future questions and to schedule their first free annual check-ups.
