Marblanc Solar has many installations in Mijas. This client contacted us for a free solar survey, which involves an on-site visit, a detailed drone analysis of the property, a comprehensive shading scan, and a tailored proposal.
During the survey, our survey engineer Alan Manning learned that the client was spending over €4,134 a year on electricity.
The client requested a system that would maximise energy production despite some partial shading on their roof during certain times of the day. Using our advanced Pylon software, we simulated the potential energy generation and calculated the optimal placement for each panel. The proposal included Huawei optimizers to ensure each panel performed at its peak, mitigating any shading impact and shaping a highly efficient system design.
Our proposal demonstrated how the installation would reduce their electricity bills by over €2,520 a year, bringing their average monthly bill down from €345 to just €134.
Our team installed the 12.6kWp system, comprising 21 solar panels, an inverter, and a battery, across the main roof area of the villa.
Our installation team ensured all cabling was hidden neatly to maintain the property’s aesthetics. We took great care to protect the existing roof structure during the process and secured the solar panels with a robust mounting system designed to withstand extreme weather. The entire installation was completed faster than the client expected.
As part of our post-installation support, we then secured an exclusive solar feed-in tariff with a virtual battery.
We then monitored the client’s electricity usage every day for two weeks to help optimise their appliance usage with plug timers and use of our solar app. Finally, we assigned the client to one of our Monday-Sunday WhatsApp aftercare groups, should they have any questions.
