The client wanted a solar installation to reduce their electricity bills. Marblanc Solar installed a 13.8kW solar energy system, which will also reduce electricity costs by over €2,976 a year.
The client in Urbanizacion el Paraiso, Benahavis, was looking for a way to significantly lower their substantial monthly electricity costs.
Marblanc Solar has completed many installations in Benahavis, so the client booked our free solar survey. This comprehensive process included an on-site visit, a detailed drone analysis of the property, a full shading scan, and the creation of a customised proposal.
Our survey engineer learned from the client’s past bills that they were spending over €5,300 a year on electricity.
The client requested that the panels be installed across multiple roof sections to maintain the villa’s aesthetic appeal while maximising sun exposure. To address this, we used our advanced Pylon software to simulate year-round production and calculate the optimal placement for each of the 23 panels. This detailed analysis shaped a proposal that balanced high efficiency with the client’s visual requirements.
Our proposal demonstrated how the system would reduce their electricity bills by over €2,976 a year, cutting their average monthly bill from around €447 to just €199.
Our team installed a 13.8kWp system, comprising 23 high-efficiency JA Solar panels and a Huawei inverter. The panels were carefully positioned across the different roof areas of the villa in Urbanizacion el Paraiso, as planned in the proposal.
During the installation, our technicians took great care to hide all cabling neatly and protect the existing roof structure. The solar panels were secured with a robust mounting system to withstand extreme weather conditions, and the entire project was completed faster than the client expected.

The final installation will provide the client in Benahavis with annual electricity savings of over €2,976, achieving break-even in just 4-5 years. The system resulted in a 55% reduction in their monthly electricity bill. We initially provided a proposal designed to cut the bills by over 80%, but the client requested an adjusted proposal to accommodate specific aesthetic requirements for their villa's roof.
