adam@marblancsolar.com +34951823083Adam Millington is a qualified electrician and holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems from Technological University Dublin. He began working with a solar installation in Ireland before relocating to the Costa del Sol in 2022, where he founded his own electrical contracting company, Marblanc Electrical. It wasn’t long before he was being called out to fix poorly installed solar systems across the region.
What he found alarmed him: undersized cables literally melting under load, installations weeks away from causing an electrical fire. Through word of mouth, both homeowners and some of Spain’s largest solar companies began bringing Adam in as a trusted local sub-contractor to install systems to a proper standard. That first-hand experience gave him the knowledge and conviction to co-found Marblanc Solar in 2024, built around an in-house team and the professional standards the market badly needed.
He met co-owner Roman Mitchell shortly after arriving in Spain, and the two share both the vision and the day-to-day running of the business.
Adam leads the technical side of Marblanc Solar’s operations, personally carrying out Free Solar Survey proposals for large, complex, and commercial installations. He is the first point of contact for on-site troubleshooting, working closely with Project Manager John Bradley to resolve technical challenges as they arise. Adam sets the quality standards for all electrical work carried out under the Marblanc Solar name – every installation is ultimately signed off against the benchmark he has established.
Outside of work, Adam keeps active at the gym and enjoys spending time with his family on the Costa del Sol.
Adam’s background as a qualified electrician – combined with his Master’s degree in Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems – directly informs the standard of every installation Marblanc Solar carries out. Adam’s qualifications mean the technical design, cable sizing, component selection, and system commissioning are all handled in-house.
It’s this foundation that allows Marblanc Solar to offer a 25-year workmanship warranty – a guarantee no other installer in the region is able to match.
That same technical rigour extends into aftersales. Adam’s electrical expertise underpins Marblanc Solar’s ability to optimise the entire home’s electrics & consumption – setting plug timers, reviewing consumption patterns, and ensuring clients are extracting maximum value from their free solar energy. For clients who need emergency callouts, Adam is directly reachable and able to diagnose and resolve issues that a non-qualified installer simply could not.
